After years of rumors, Lamborghini is going to be next to cross over into the SUV world. The Urus distinctly looks like a Lamborghini, at least according to the concept car. The Urus has all of the hard corners and angles of a Lamborghini making it one aggressive SUV.
The Urus is planned to have a twin-turbocharged V8 engine in it it, making it a little different from the existing Lamborghini cars that are naturally aspirated V10 and V12. Rumors have spread that Lamborghini wants the Urus to be the most powerful in its class, meaning it would have to out power the Bentley Bentayga, which is 600 Horsepower, and will most likely out power the Huracan which is 610 Horsepower.
The Urus overall seems like it will do well against its competition, but will the price that comes with it help sell the car? The Urus is expected to be around $225,000, which is a pretty penny for an SUV. This makes the Urus more expensive than the Bentley Bentayga. Although it could be less expensive than the Lamborghini Huracan making it the most affordable Lamborghini out there,but will $225,000 be worth it when the competing cars like the Bentayga and the Cayenne are significantly cheaper. We will have to wait to see when the car is up for Production in the near future.
